Mike Sorensen has been
practicing tax, pension and corporate law since the 1970's. Mike received
his law degree from the University of Washington, and was on the Law Review.
While on Law Review, Mike was a Comment Editor and authored two published
articles, one on how past performance effects the Statute of Frauds; a
second was part of a symposium on the revised Washington State Criminal
Code. Mike finished his law school as a member of Order of the Coif.
Mike's present practice focuses on the corporate
and business law issues which effect our clients. He has substantial
business and tax law experience, and has been lead counsel in over two
dozen "no-action" requests directed to various securities
regulators. He also has been counsel in a substantial number of
cases before the U.S. Tax Court and the federal appellate courts.
