Real Estate Law

Real estate law encompasses a wide range of legal principles and regulations that pertain to the ownership, use, transfer, development, and management of real property. This includes, but is not limited to: property ownership, transactions (buying, selling, leasing, or renting), zoning and land use, real estate development, easements and property rights, title disputes, contract breaches, and real estate taxation (including tax-deferred exchanges under Section 1031).

Since real estate law can vary by jurisdiction, it is important to consult with legal professionals such as Sorensen & Edwards that are thoroughly familiar with local Alaska real estate law and tax matters.
